Does anyone know of a good online digital Photograph printing services in India (preferably Delhi/Gurgaon/Noida) but not limited to that. I think the convenience provided is immense there. I was reading some figures on the digital camera sales/imports/smuggles in India and they were startling.
Well if we don’t have the service (my gut feel says so), so there we go……

Kodak is already there in the market with http://www.kodakexpress.co.in/
One possible market for such a service could be people who are going on a vacation abroad/software junta on an onsite trip. They may send their photos to their family and friends back in India.
Increase in cost due to courier charges and payment gateway could be balanced by the savings due to scale of operations.
The competition amongst the courier companies is fierce. They are ready to deliver the telephone bills at Rs. 2-3/Bill. The case of this site, is no different, this site can also get decent discount on courier charges.
here is a new service ..

Comments welcome .. I am in no way associated with this site ..
If someone can tie up with gkvale (bangalore) or such well known photographers .. use their name for branding…. would help such sites a lot ..
Cheers

I agree with Rajesh. I work for a topC on a similar concept, They have plans to launch a silimilar service in India this Quarter. Our team is working on the project.
Well, actually such shops will soon (if they are not already doing so globally) be used not just for quick, high-quality bulk printing of photographs (needd by corporates from time-to-time) but also concentrate on printing marketing collaterals for both enterprise and SMB customers. Larging printing companies see this as a big revenue opportunity.
For such a service the payment gateway’s are the biggest deterents (India based Payment gateways charge anywhere between 5 to 7% as transaction fees). On top if this if you factor in the courier costs then we are looking at 10 to 15% over the friendly neighbourhood photoshop
Went through picsquare…still no sign of picture enhancement services offered online. I have had a lot of pictures emailed to me by some of the IGotANewCamera enthusiasts and the results were really bad. Adjust some gamma, color and sharpness and viola we have some professional looking pics!! I believe this kind of bulk photo enhancements can really be a major boon for sharing memories and people would be interested to pay for them. Consider this…if you take a trip for 2 days and 3 nights…how many pics will you click in the night than day? Jeez, most of the people who buy digital cameras do not even bother to read the manual of their feature packed, light control cameras…many of them do not use their cameras any more than they will use those Kodak disposables you find in vending machines at tourist spots in the west. I do not think anybody is doing image enhancement globally! Fill me up here guys!!
Chao!
