Hey readers,
I have finally managed to get my hardware issues sorted out and emailed all of you who have requested the report. I am still a low-tech blogger; so I have asked Alok for help in posting this file somewhere on venturewoods. Please write to me individually about your thoughts. This was not a full fledged funded research, albeit it was a class project at MIT.

Can someone mail me startup culture report
Great website, bringing in people to discuss about ventures. Looking forward more great conversations.
The report is quite refreshing but naive, for it focussed so much on trivial things. The work is supposed to talk about Org structure, culture, Incentives and bootstrapping influences on org. It has some interesting and funny but real observations in any typical startups, like chai and all that. But the main ingredient of a startup company is the motivation to create some thing out of dreams, and how that motivation and zeal keeps the organization together.
There will be very few and fancy incentives and clear dearth of stability in startups. You never know how long a startup can survive. Leave alone, big sharks trying to woo smart engineers with huge paychecks. Big question to be addressed then is how the startups retain the staff and pull such a good teamwork under those dire stances, which defy all the principles one learns at a college. What motivates them to pull out a miraculous efforts? I don’t think any effort is made to answer this important question. If you are planning on becoming an entrepreneur, you must find an answer to this. This is so important for a startup success. Retain the talent first and bring the best in them.
Keep up the good work and inquisitive mind alive.
