We had a great response to the Entrepreneurial Challenge — over 100 existing businesses applied, and we are very encouraged with the quality of applicants. The following make it to the finals! (yes, we had said we will have 10 finalists, but landed up choosing 11)
– 6 Dee
– Anyasoft
– Athena Info
– Bonobo Exchange
– Cariosa Technologies
– D’Roms
– Infozech
– Pradot
– Surya International
– Vegayan
– Zendle Learning
The finals will be held at the TiE Summit in Mumbai on 17th December, and winners will be announced the same day. Thanks to all participants, and to Evalueserve for assisting us with evaluations and feedback to all participating teams.

Can anybody here give a first hand eaperience of being a winner at any of these business plan competitions. Winner sure gets some seed money and mentoring but at times I feel the effort involved in preparing all those bplans and trying to answer the questions of the judges would take away the time and mind of atleast one of the founder members for a long time for which the competition is on. And all the finalists (like 11 here) would be trying to give it their best and would all be worth it but only one will get the worth of his/her time.
What I’m trying to argue here is, is it worth all the time and efforts, you may better spend all that time and energy geting more clients or meeting many more prospective investors.
Hi Alok,
We are eager to hear your feedback for NMware, it would be nice if you could tell us about the drawbacks and improvements needed in our business plan.
Thanks.
Hi Alok
Good show! Don’t see my plans in your list, but will look forward to the feedback. By the way, Vegayan was also shortlisted in the DFJ-TiE challenge, right?
Absolutely Manish, as promised all participants will get feedback on what the shortlist panel thought about the plans, and where some improvements could be done. In addition, there were some plans that I liked but the panel could not fit into the shortlist, and I will be requesting some of them to get in touch with me directly for independent followup,
Thanks for participating!
Hi Alok,
Just a quick question, we submitted Picsquare business plan for entrepreneurial challenge, unfortunately we are not selected. I just wanted to know if we will receive the feedback from evaluation panel. It would be great to have their feedback that will help us in identifying the weak point and further refining the business model/plan.
