Responsibilities
1. Work with founders to define and execute our marketing strategy
2. Build a world class marketing team from the ground up
3. Collaborate with Sales and Product Management teams to develop, refine and manage messaging for brand and platform
4. Promote campaigns and activities that increase web presence, visitor traffic, and lead generation.
5. Collaborate with Product Management and Sales teams to author marketing communications including; branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events collateral materials, social media, e-mail campaigns, website design and content.
6. Develop and manage the Company’s marketing budget and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities
Desired Skills & Experience
1. Bachelors degree with an MBA
2. 15+ years overall experience, with 10+ years in marketing and 5+ years marketing to SMBs
3. Must have successful track record with Start-up organizations
4. Planned and executed aggressive multi-year growth marketing plans
5. Market savvy, self-motivated, target oriented, and able to handle pressure
6. Hands on experience building a well-known brand from scratch, using online marketing
7. Strong understanding of web marketing – SEO/SEM, social media, etc
8. Clear understanding of the buying preferences and needs of small and mid-sized businesses, as well as the community of service providers that cater to this market
9. Strategic thinker with hands on experience and solid attention to detail
