Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with product manager and engineering to conceptualize and develop a deep understanding of customers, both internal and external, identify gaps in core product functionality, and help build the right set of features and then track adoption
* Gather detailed functional requirements, identify feature details and document them (PRD: product requirement document) to support rapid development (specifications, schedules, etc.) and effectively manage trade-offs between cost/schedule versus customer benefit.
* Ensure PRDs, flow diagrams and wireframes are properly translated to the live site and drive problem resolution once the new feature has gone live.
* Define and conduct market research to gain knowledge about user behavior and competition. Gather information and data from multiple sources (consumer research, partners, vendors, competitive analysis), develop insights, and translate findings into action.
* Provide analytics based insights to improve marketing teams capability to calculate return on marketing investments and optimize marketing spend.
* Working with support teams to manage operational issues such as legal compliance, fulfillment, managing relationships with external partners and champion customer satisfaction by working with customer support to oversee customer grievance resolution and trouble shooting in case of escalations.

Requirement:
Education and Experience:
* Ideal candidate would have a techno-business background (education or work experience) with 1-4 years work experience.
* Bachelors in IT/CS/Engineering or a degree in Business Administration /Eco/Stats is desirable. However BA/BSc/BComs from top colleges can also apply.
* Experience in Software or Internet Company either as a developer/analyst or any other support function role is a must.
* Work experience in a startup environment would be great advantage.

A curious driven CTO / VP engineering and founding team member is needed for a new startup building a platform to support financial inclusion and micropayments.
Someone who has built large scale transactional, web applications in low connectivity scenarios, would be good, but ultimately it’s about passion for the challenge. You probably have worked in developing internet applications for telecoms and/or retail financial services solutions. We may end up using Java but Python and other languages may also be used, and so you should be able to work with a range of new technologies. This is ideal for someone who is a self starter who can manage teams & different development partners. Curiousity and communication skills are vital.

Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills and social skills
As it’s a sales oriented role, more than 50% of the time you will be spending talking to people (to get ads for the website or with business partners to make agreements)
So you must have excellent communication and social skills.

* Good knowledge of media, news channels and how they work.
