I’m part of a nascent startup (in Hyderabad) trying to setup a new click and mortar business. We are at a very early stage right now – just started with the paperwork for starting a pvt ltd.
We need PHP professionals (hopefully with knowledge of the Joomla! CMS) with experience building a database (mysql) driven website to work for us. An eye for good UI will be an advantage.
We also need a UI designer/engineer to work for the website.
Please note that we are bootstrapping with our savings and the renumeration will not be top of the line. On the other hand, i’d be ok if you want to work for us in your free time (provided you promise to stick to deadlines).

This person will build the advertiser sales business through direct and agency led model for StratosHear. The responsibilities will include: a) managing agency relationship; b) driving direct advertiser sales ; c) creating new leveraged models to tap into local advertising business; d) creating a sales process and e) managing a team over time. This person will need to be extremely aggressive, very well connected in the advertising community, well spoken, commercially savvy and relationship oriented. Good market knowledge, street smarts, go getter & winning attitude and interested in meeting new people and excellent communication skills are must haves. This person should come from the advertising industry and must have sold digital ads before in India before.
Ideally this person has around 6-8 years of experience. An MBA is preferable.
Marketing/PR Manager
This person will drive the corporate marketing, product marketing and PR for the company both online and offline. The responsibilities will include: a) creating marketing collaterals ; b) driving online marketing and managing website ; c) ensuring strong presence for the company at various conferences; d) managing PR agency relationship and e) driving consumer marketing for products in collaboration with our partners. This person will need to be a savvy marketer, very well connected in the marketing/PR community, articulate and well spoken, and relationship oriented. Good market knowledge, street smarts, go getter & winning attitude are must haves. This person should come from the marketing background and must have done online marketing as well before in India. Ideally this person has around 2-3 years of experience. An MBA is preferable.
Operator Business Development / Sales Manager:
This person will drive business development activities of the StratosHear ad engine platform with operators in India and in the Asian region. The responsibilities will include: a) relationship management; b) commercial contract negotiation; c) closing on the contracts. This person will need to be strategic, extremely aggressive, very well connected (in the operator space), well spoken, commercially savvy and relationship oriented. Good market knowledge, street smarts, go getter & winning attitude and interested in meeting new people and excellent communication skills are must haves. This person should come from the telecom industry and must have sold to the operators before in India / SE Asia before. The person should also be able to lead a team over time.
Ideally this person has around 4-6 years of experience. An engineering degree along with an MBA is a must.
