I started my career in September’92 with a start-up business as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. Here, I learnt the tactics involved in managing long-cycle capital equipment business & the typical startup teething issues. Acquired hard core selling skills towards sales of capital equipment and related technical services & contracts of sizeable value.
I joined an Automobile giant, wherein I learnt people-management, dealer sales and government sales. I learnt the complete cycle of inquiry to order process with institutional & corporate customers. Learnt to establish a stable distribution network and improve stock control & cash flow for healthier bottom line.
In 2001, I moved to work on a unique business model with one of the renowned US MNC. We established ourselves as a Solution provider, wherein we identify the gap, get the solution from core business team at US, sell across the concept to Indian customers, take necessary approvals from Government Research wing, make a third party manufacture the product with non – disclosure exclusive arrangements and become a sales & service provider without any capital investment. Here, I learnt the complete cycle, right from business development to managing the Top-line & bottom-line of business.
In 2004, I moved within the corporate as head of the cross sell business for the financial services entity of this organization. Built a strong platform to ensure customer retention through Personal Loans, and established two captive call centers along with complete infrastructure, while leading a team spread across the country.
Currently leading P&L for Retail loans as Vice President & Business Head. Here as a profit center head I am accountable for smooth and profitable running of my Business for bottom line growth as well as formulating the strategy for top line growth for the business spread across country with a growing channel network of 4000 plus channel partners.
My inner voice is consistently reminding me to carve my own path and create an art of my own on the canvas of life. I truly look forward to consolidate my learnings and contribute to build an organization of my own and am exploring various options in this regard.

I had co-founded an XML based data management products company (in US) a few years back. We ran this company for about 1.5yrs and then sold it to a healthcare IT firm. Later I joined IBM Life Sciences division in NY where I was the solutions manager for the Drug Discovery vertical. After that I relocated back to India (Hyd) and currently I manage the Global Life Sciences business for a large Indian IT services firm (one of the top 3). I did my B.Tech from IIT Delhi and M.S from UT Austin, both in Computer Science.
What I bring to the table
1. High energy and desire to do something “game changing”
2. Experience in running and selling a small venture
3. Biz dev, sales and mktg exp in outsourcing/ professional services. Achieved huge year on year revenue growth
4. Exp in starting and growing “new divisions” (though in big corporations)

I left my PhD in Electrical Engineering(wireless communication) at IIT,Madras,India with an intention to find a suitable(Need not be well paid.But must be challenging).

I did my M.Tech from KREC,Suratkal.I have almost Nine years of Industrial experience in embedded and Digital Signal Processing application to communication.Before joining in PhD I had worked in various places like Bharat Electronics,Tata Elxsi,3Com(USA) and Analog Devices(USA).
I have experience in Assembly language(fixed point DSP processors) and in Matlab and have exposure to various signal processing algorithms like Kalman,LMS,RLS,Viterbi,MAP etc.
I have designed a speech scrambler with an un known but static channel.Timing recovery,frequency offset correction and channel equalization are some of the signal processing tasks involced.
I am interested in working for good start-up companies in wireless(physical layer).I prefer Bangalore though I will consider other major cities.I would like to work in a friendly environment in a small company with like minded people who want to achieve in wireless area.

I am an IT professional for the last 14 years and have been working with companies like Mastek, 3i Infotech etc. I joined a startup last year to get myself aware of the operations of a startup. When I joined this company, even the office was not ready and now it is 50 people strong. I am getting to understand the nuisances and issues in building a startup. Though want to clarify that I am not involved with finance operations but with almost everything else like creating a practice, HR related issues, technology infrastructure, Team building etc etc.
Banking, Insurance, EAI, solutions for Handheld devices- these are some of the areas where I have been involved in providing solutions and managing teams so far. No experience whatesoever as an entrepreneur but lots of passion.
